Stellar Moon is a proud Nyikina woman from the Kimberley, based in Broome.  With bold & powerful presence, Stellar guides us on a journey of liberation and empowerment! Compelling vocals, funky riffs, blues grit and a whole lot of soul. Weaving her mob’s Nyikina language through songs, Stellar promotes deeper connection to self, culture and ‘Country’.

Soul singer, funk bringer, sound healer and deep feeler, Stellar Moon brings a rare blend of authenticity and emotional resonance to every stage. Anchored in Country, guided by the Cosmos and a curiosity for human behaviour, she shares stories that stir, shift and uplift audiences long after the final note.

Stellar Moon launched the project in 2020 and has tour extensively each year across WA. Her debut album ‘Phases’ was released in March 2024, gaining a lot of attention along community networks & radio, featuring on many prominent First Nation playlists & compilations including First Sounds Volume 11 and her single 'Still Tea' sitting in AMRAP’s Top 10 for three weeks.

Stellar Moon is is back in the studio, releasing new Music in 2026, with first single ‘Dark Night’ already out and having reached both national and regional airplay charts.

Stellar Moon has played all the big WA festivals, including the award-winning Nannup Music Festival, Blues at Bridgetown and the Ord Valley Muster. She has supported many Australian greats such as Daryl Braithwaite, The Waifs, Christine Anu and Emily Wurramarra.

Stellar Moon performances can vary from the very intimate solo, duo, trio arrangements to the festive feel of the 5-8 piece band.
