I have been leading lady of Cover bands (3rd Wheel & Miss Behave & the School of Funk ) for over 15 years and have passionately provided music for events, corporate, venues and weddings in and around Broome, Derby, Jurien Bay & more. The Musicians I work with are all well seasoned professional Musicians who have toured extensively with original and cover bands in the past.
I also am a singer/songwriter, 'Stellar Moon'. Read below to hear my Original Music story;
My Musical story
I'm a woman from the Kimberley! Born & raised in Derby (Boorroola) and I now live in beautiful Broome (Rubibi). I've played in popular cover bands for over 15 years and have now branched out with my original Music. I released my first single 'Song for Mary' as well as appearing on WAM's album; 'Sounds of the Kimberley' in 2019. I've performed at many local events & festivals, I've performed for the WA Premier and Cabinet, at the first Indigenous Cinefestoz and supported act such as Daryl Braithewaite and The Waifs.
My dad is a Niykina man from Derby and also a local musican so music has always been a huge influence in my life. I've been singing and writing songs since I was a child making up songs sitting up in mango trees! I was a Music teacher for 17 years and I'm also a sound healer. I am passionate about Music as an ancient healer through vibration and stories that need to be sung.
My original act is 'Stellar Moon'. My music is as diverse like the cycles of the Moon, ranging from chilled & happy to deep & soulful songs and fun & funky tunes. Check out some of my tunes below!
